Product Description
Azide capped 8-arm poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (8-arm PLGA-Azide, 8-arm PLGA-N3) is a multiarm PLGA derivative with N3 groups at each terminal of the eight arms connected to one trehalose core. Azide-functionalized polymers & copolymers can react via a click chemistry reaction with alkyne or acetylene. “Click” chemistry, or the copper(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) is a powerful new synthetic tool in polymer chemistry and material science.
Otherwise noted, multiarm PLGA is composed of d,l-lactide and glycolide (50:50 ratio).
