Other PEG Lipids

Other PEG Lipids are specialized PEGylated lipid excipients designed for liposome formulation, lipid nanoparticle (LNP) development, drug delivery, gene delivery, and nanomedicine applications. These materials combine hydrophobic lipid moieties with hydrophilic polyethylene glycol (PEG) chains to improve nanoparticle stability, reduce aggregation, minimize protein adsorption, and prolong circulation time in vivo.

This category includes PEG lipids that do not fall within traditional DSPE-PEG, DOPE-PEG, DMPE-PEG, Cholesterol-PEG, or PEG Glyceride classifications. Many of these materials are widely used as stealth lipids and stabilizing agents in lipid nanoparticle formulations for nucleic acid delivery, mRNA therapeutics, vaccines, and targeted drug delivery systems.

Representative products include ALC-0159, DMG-PEG derivatives, PEGylated alkyl lipids, PEGylated amide lipids, and other specialized PEG lipid excipients used in advanced pharmaceutical and biotechnology research.
