Description
General Description
PLGA-diamine is a biodegradable polyester synthesized from D,L-lactide and glycolide and functionalized with primary amine groups at both termini. The PLGA backbone provides excellent biodegradability and biocompatibility, while the terminal amine groups enable efficient conjugation with activated esters, carboxylic acids, aldehydes, isocyanates, and other amine-reactive compounds.
The reactive amine functionality makes PLGA-diamine an important intermediate for the synthesis of functional block copolymers, targeted drug delivery systems, polymer-drug conjugates, nanoparticles, and biomaterials. The polymer combines the proven performance of PLGA with versatile amine chemistry for a wide range of biomedical applications.
