Poly(L-Arginine)-PEGs

Poly(L-Arginine)-PEGs are functional graft and block copolymers consisting of poly(L-arginine) (PLArg) and polyethylene glycol (PEG). The cationic poly(L-arginine) backbone provides excellent nucleic acid binding and cell-penetrating properties, while PEG improves water solubility, biocompatibility, colloidal stability, and circulation time. Functional end groups such as azide, biotin, maleimide, amine, carboxyl, fluorescein, and rhodamine enable further bioconjugation and targeted drug delivery. Poly(L-Arginine)-PEG copolymers are widely used in gene delivery, mRNA and siRNA delivery, nanoparticle engineering, tissue engineering, and biomaterials research.
