21-[D(+)-Biotinylamino]-4,7,10,13,16,19-hexaoxaheneicosanoic acid (BIO-PEG6-COOH, Biotin-PEG6-COOH) is a monodisperse heterobifunctional PEG reagent with a biotin and a carboxylic acid. It is a useful crosslinking or bioconjugation reagent with a PEG spacer. Biotin can bind to avidin and streptavidin with high specificity and affinity and achieve non-covalent PEGylation.
