DSPE-PEG-FITC

Price range: $325.00 through $385.00

DSPE-PEG-FITC is a fluorescent lipid-PEG conjugate consisting of 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (DSPE), polyethylene glycol (PEG), and fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC). The DSPE lipid anchor readily incorporates into liposomes and lipid nanoparticles, while the FITC fluorophore provides bright green fluorescence for imaging and tracking applications. DSPE-PEG-FITC is widely used for liposome labeling, nanoparticle tracking, cellular imaging, biodistribution studies, and nanomedicine research.

Description

General Description

DSPE-PEG-FITC is a fluorescent phospholipid derivative designed for the preparation and visualization of lipid-based delivery systems. The hydrophobic DSPE segment efficiently incorporates into lipid bilayers, liposomes, lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), micelles, and other nanocarriers, while the hydrophilic PEG spacer extends into the aqueous environment to improve colloidal stability and reduce steric hindrance.

The FITC fluorophore provides strong green fluorescence and high detection sensitivity, enabling visualization and quantitative analysis of nanoparticle uptake, intracellular trafficking, biodistribution, and targeting efficiency. DSPE-PEG-FITC is frequently used in fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, confocal imaging, in vitro imaging, in vivo imaging, and drug delivery studies.
