General Description
HS-PEG-SH is a versatile homobifunctional PEG linker designed for thiol-mediated conjugation and crosslinking applications. The two terminal thiol groups provide reactive sites for coupling with proteins, peptides, antibodies, nanoparticles, polymers, and biomaterial surfaces.
The hydrophilic PEG spacer improves water solubility, flexibility, biocompatibility, and reduces nonspecific protein adsorption. The terminal thiol groups readily participate in thiol-maleimide coupling, thiol-ene reactions, disulfide exchange reactions, and gold surface immobilization.
