Description

General Description

N3-PEG-N3 is a versatile homobifunctional PEG linker designed for bioorthogonal conjugation and crosslinking applications. The two terminal azide groups provide highly selective reactive sites for copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) and strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC).

The hydrophilic PEG spacer improves water solubility, flexibility, biocompatibility, and reduces nonspecific protein adsorption. N3-PEG-N3 can be utilized as a crosslinker, spacer, surface modifier, or building block for the preparation of hydrogels, dendrimers, nanoparticles, polymer networks, and advanced biomaterials.

Due to the excellent selectivity and efficiency of azide-based click chemistry, N3-PEG-N3 is widely employed in drug delivery, molecular imaging, biomaterials engineering, and bioconjugation applications.
