Description

General Description

PLGA-Fluorescein is a fluorescent derivative of PLGA designed for imaging and tracking applications. The biodegradable PLGA backbone retains the excellent drug encapsulation and controlled-release properties of conventional PLGA while incorporating a fluorescent fluorescein label for visualization.

The fluorescein moiety emits bright green fluorescence and can be detected using fluorescence microscopy, confocal microscopy, flow cytometry, IVIS imaging systems, and fluorescence spectroscopy. This enables researchers to monitor nanoparticle uptake, intracellular trafficking, tissue distribution, degradation behavior, and drug delivery performance.

PLGA-FITC is widely employed in nanoparticle tracking, biodistribution studies, cellular uptake experiments, tissue engineering, molecular imaging, and nanomedicine development.
