General Description

PLGA-Rhodamine B is a fluorescent biodegradable polyester prepared by covalently conjugating Rhodamine B to PLGA. The PLGA backbone retains the excellent biodegradability and biocompatibility of conventional PLGA, while the Rhodamine B fluorophore provides strong red fluorescence for sensitive optical detection.

PLGA-RhB can be formulated into nanoparticles, microspheres, implants, and injectable delivery systems while maintaining fluorescent labeling throughout fabrication.
